1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. We use cookies only where strictly necessary to operate the Docaira platform — no tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies of any kind.
2. Cookies We Use
Docaira uses the minimum number of cookies required to keep you logged in and protect your session.
| Cookie name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| next-auth.session-token | Docaira | Keeps you logged in. HttpOnly — not accessible to JavaScript. | 30 days (or session) |
| next-auth.csrf-token | Docaira | Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. | Session |
| next-auth.callback-url | Docaira | Stores where to redirect you after login. | Session |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe | Fraud prevention during payment checkout. | 1 year |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention during payment checkout. | 30 minutes |
No analytics. No advertising. No fingerprinting. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking technology. The cookies above are the complete list.
3. Legal Basis
The Docaira session and CSRF cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. Under GDPR and the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (LEK), strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. Stripe cookies are set only on the checkout page and are necessary for secure payment processing.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking the next-auth.session-token cookie will prevent you from staying logged in — you will need to sign in on every visit.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we introduce new cookies we will update this page and notify landlord account holders by email. Questions: team@docaira.com
